WELLNESS TERRACE

Twin Gables rooftop Wellness Terrace

SOAK UP THE SUNSHINE

The Twin Gables Wellness Terrace is a thoughtful, communal guest space. Accessible from both our exterior staircase and the third floor entrance, the newly renovated rooftop terrace nestles within the tree canopy and overlooks the Catskill mountains.

The intentionally minimalist rooftop space is lined with Tivoli string lights for evening ambience. Enjoy your morning coffee at a bistro table or spread out your yoga mat to relish the great outdoors.

We offer complimentary adult Yoga Class on Sunday mornings at 10 am for our guests, weather permitting, and love working with studios and teachers to host retreats onsite as well.

YOGA WITH JEN

SUNDAYS AT 10 AM

Born and raised in the Catskill Mountains, Jen is proud to call this area her home. It is her love of nature, community, and these mountains that has rooted her here. And it is through yoga and hospitality, that she is able to share this with those who are visiting the Catskills.

In 2019 Jen completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training through Shakti Yoga Woodstock, under the guidance of Linda ‘Lalita’ Winnick and Selena Reynolds.

“Yoga changed my life for the better," she said. "Through practice, discipline, and awareness, I was able to notice the subtle shifts taking place. Yoga makes me feel more connected to my self, and in turn more connected to those around me.”

Class is suitable for all to attend, whether you are a seasoned yogi or if this is your first time on the mat. Enjoy the experience as a part of your Catskills adventure. Connect to your breath, body, and the natural beauty surrounding you here as you start your day with intention, gratitude, and mindful movement.

Welcome and namaste.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT

We acknowledge Twin Gables was built upon Lenape ancestral land. As settlers on their indigenous homeland,  we have a duty to recognize the Lenape nation as the original stewards of Woodstock and beyond. It is our hope that this land acknowledgment will help empower First Nation voices and inspire others in the community to pursue a stronger, more inclusive, and equitable future for our country. We seek to educate ourselves while contributing to the Lenape peoples by raising awareness and learning how to be a better ally against continued colonization.
