Something huge is happening August 2023 at Bethel Center for the Arts: on the original site of the Woodstock grounds comes a new festival for the first time since ’69. Catbird Music Festival is set to premiere August 19th & 20th, summer of 2023. Some of the largest names in music will premiere on the stage alongside up and coming talent, all sharing the stage in a new festival on the historic festival field for the first time since 1969.
Folk indie music favorite will grace the stage with a pretty huge talent line-up, the headliners being The Lumineers and Tyler Childers. The set list is pretty impressive, including both well-known bands and emerging artists performing alongside one another. Bands in the queue including Band of Horses, The Ward on Drugs, Margo Price, Dispatch, Charley Crockett, Amos Lee, and much more.
On-site food & beverage vendors will be stationed in tents all day long. Beverage options will offer everything from craft beers to delectable cocktails, mocktails, sodas, and waters. Food vendors will have a wide variety of options available for those with sensitivities or food preferences, including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options.
Where To Stay:
For this two day festival, camping options will be available for purchase! Standard camping at Catbird offers next-to-car camping space, with access to shared bathhouses. A set up is RV camping, which is provided with access to water and electric hookup sites, with shower & restroom access close by. To fully elevate your experience at the festival, “glamp” at Catbird. The glamping experience come with a tent set up fully equip with a queen or double-twin beds, with premium restrooms and complimentary showers. This option comes with premium access to where the music plays, so you’ll be the first to claim the best spots for the shows.
In Woodstock: If you've had enough of the music after the long days' festivities and would like somewhere quiet to rest your head, come home to Twin Gables of Woodstock. Founded in 1926, our historical property is in the heart of Downtown Woodstock. Newly renovated as of 2020, the inn was re-designed as "the little art hotel", honoring it's roots as a center for creatives with each room designed to be its own vignette. In Tannersville: A short drive away 20 minutes further up the mountain is our sister property, Hotel Mountain Brook. Nestled in the heart of Downtown Tannersville is our Adirondack Lodge, fully renovated as of 2021. A short walk from property is the main strip of downtown filled with all the best local restaurants, boutiques, antique stores, all surrounded by stunning mountain views. Upon arrival to our historic property, you'll be warmly greeted by innkeepers Sandra and Ryan. Each room is fully equipped with plush linens, hybrid mattresses, a mini fridge, and television with digital connection as well as a dvd hook up where you can play any movie from our vast 'dvd library' in the game room. Enjoy any of our common spaces including the fireplace lounge area, in-house bar, both of our outdoor fire-pits, and the vintage inspired game room (filled with games, books, dvds, and our complimentary snack & beverage station).
