Here's our visual depiction of the transformation: {concept} When we first toured Twin Gables with the intent to buy it, we could not believe the light and energy exuding from the kitchen! Even more unbelievable was that the kitchen was entirely off limit to guests as it was used solely as the Innkeepers office and Housekeeping room. We knew it would be a big undertaking to make it guest-ready but we also saw the value in doing so. {before} {process} Needless t
{the journey} Here's our visual depiction of the transformation: {concept} If you haven't been able to find rooms 8 and 9, that's because they were originally up in The Gables! For a long time the two rooms were used for storage. With our current renovations, both Gables rooms were completely gutted and rebuilt with brand new windows, ceilings + walls and the addition of electricity. (Wow!) Features of an outdoor garden oasis included incorporating hanging birdcage pendant lamps and various stone busts/statues. {before} {process} Initially the entire room was covered in the French Toile wallpaper, but we decided to leave one statement wal
{the journey} Here's our visual depiction of the transformation: {concept} Inspired by black and white motif, the Monochromatic Suite was designed to have a whimsical, bold, black and white stylized look. We wanted to create each room at Twin Gables with local artists featured in each. Our friend + renown artist Paddy Cohn custom-designed a piece specifically for this room! {before} {process} As usual, we updated the space with clean white walls and funky new lighting fixture
Having been around since 1880, Twin Gables has seen a lot of life throughout the years...so much so that a few lives may have stuck around, beyond the grave!
